Coke New Releases - Fresh Music from the fridge
Saturday October 29th 11am - 12pm
Pull up a chair, go on, pull up two. It’s a special week this week on Coke New Releases. Phil’s feet are (thankfully) fully dressed again and after much debate and gnashing of teeth we’ve convinced him not to wear a robe. Understandably, he’s excited - not only are we giving away a brand new Sony PSP (it’s gaming for all occasions) but he’s all a flutter about the new video from his future wife Hayley Westenra.
We also turn our attention to the fantastic new clip from dance floor thumpers Basement Jaxx, whose foray into t-shirt design is sure to leave you flabbergasted, while Pharrell’s newie is considerably deeper than the leopard skinned women and explosions might suggest.
Local beat merchant Sola Rosa poses the question ‘What if?’, while James Blunt struggles with a gang of marauding dwarves and the Black Eyed Peas draw attention to lady lumps. Meanwhile everyone’s favourite party guest the Sony MHC-RG270 is still grooving on the table, flaunting her MP3 playability. Ampage is the new cleavage, you know…
Top of the Pops
Saturday October 29th 5pm-6pm
She’s finally here! This week in the Top of the Pops studio we have an exclusive live performance from NZ Idol winner – the lovely Rosita Vai with her debut single ‘All I Ask.’
Plus the usual generous dollop of tasty international treats: This week featuring Nickelback with ‘Photograph’ the delectable Sugarbabes with ‘Push the Button’ and the fresh new singles from Sean Paul ‘We Be Burnin’ and Robbie Williams with ‘Tripping.’
Check it out!
Coke Countdown
Sunday October 30th 10am - 12pm
By joves it’s all go in the charts this week. Having scaled the lofty heights of the pop top 40, that rampaging amphibious frog barely had time to catch his breath before being croaked from the top spot by a local diva.
Meanwhile Savage and the gorgeous Aaradhna make their first serious assault on the charts, with the extremely popular ‘They Don’t Know’, while out of town hit making machines Kanye West and the Foo Fighters breeze in to say hello.
With the sun coming out, so to do the Black Seeds with a perennial season favourite, plus we’ve got new clips from Basement Jaxx, Sola Rosa and Pharrell featuring Gwen Stefani.
Be there or be square!
