Producer and songwriter Nik Brinkman (Josie Moon, Mitch James, Physical) teams up with Erith on moody alt-electronic tune The Weekend.
Composed overlooking Wellington city lights one evening with a bottle or 2 of
rose’ The lyrics fell elegantly into the chords Brinkman laid down, before they
new it the pair had perfectly captured the moment.
"I was really happy with what we came up with, and I knew exactly how I wanted to produce it once we finished writing it. I wanted to make a lot of space around the vocal, and make the chorus quite heavy, with a big slow gothy synth riff." - Nik Brinkman
