The RVMES New Single Out Now!

30 September 2019 - 0 Comments

The second installment out of four singles to be released from The RVMES in lead up to their ‘North of the Smoke’ Tour, Dogtown has been released today.

Taking the path of the old legends, Dogtown steps into a cosy warmth by being completely recorded live on tape at Earwig Studios in Birkenhead with Darren McShane engineering, mixing and mastering on the beautiful screenless desk on which the classic How Bizarre by OMC was recorded.

Setting the scene with a cruising drum fill and gnarly delayed vibraslap to the face, Dogtown transports you to a world where everybody has their shades on, windows down and feeling the goodness of the Summer sun beat down on their faces. With maybe the grooviest bass line you’ve heard, The RVMES capture aspects of funk and reggae while at the same time paying homage within the track to their old rock ‘n’ roll inspirations of the past.
