New Zealand Music award recipient Jamie McDell has released her single Botox from The Botox EP coming out on October 25th, produced by Australian award-winner Nash Chambers.
Currently based in Canada, and spending plenty of time in Nashville, Jamie has started getting the attention of US country media as megasite Parade premiered her single over the weekend. You can read that HERE.

McDell’s first independently released album Extraordinary Girl, released last year, came together
between Auckland, New Zealand and Nashville, Tennessee where she recorded the tracks also with producer Nash Chambers and features a hearty cast of country music legends including Kasey Chambers, Bill Chambers, and Tami Neilson.
The album has received a number of New Zealand Country Music Awards nominations, including the RMNZ Best Country Music Album and APRA AMCOS NZ Best Country Music Song for Paint On A Sign. It also got some positive feedback
in the US from Rolling Stone, All Music, Wide Open Country, the Bluegrass Situation and more.
Extraordinary Girl saw Jamie start to peel away some layers and take a raw dive into socials issues, like domestic
abuse, and self-worth, issues that predominantly affect women. With this new set of songs she dives further in, with zero subtleties, naming the EP after the title track Botox.
Rounding out The Botox EP are two more songs Worst Crime, a stunning duet with Robert Ellis about how the worst crimes that we can commit against each other tend to be emotional ones, and Goodbye, Ohio a song
derived from the story of an older woman she met in Toronto who told Jamie she used to be in a band "on the other side," referring to America and the other side of the Great Lakes.
