A stirring and triumphant anthem all about realising your destiny, Writing On The Wall was
written and produced by lead singer Samuel Thomas. “Everyone goes through hard times in their lives,” says Sam. "Writing On The Wall is about not giving up on your dreams and continuing to do
what you were placed on this planet to do, no matter what life throws as you."
Writing On The Wall is the third single from the Thomas Brothers sophomore album Together, which is out next
Friday, January 24 . With a bold and dynamic sound, the album draws from an eclectic mix of influences, including slow and emotive ballads, catchy pop and even rap.
Recorded over four years, the album is truly a labour of
love and a real family project. As the title suggests, Together pays homage to all that have played a part in the making of the album, including the boys’ sister Esther Ruth and their dad, who both lend their musical
talents to the record. “For us, family is about being real, and so is our music. This album describes what we mean to each other, and the importance of unity. Like we kept saying when recording it, ‘You can go fast alone... or you can go far together!’.”
The Thomas Brothers have been playing music together since before they could walk. With much to say about love, family and togetherness, the four brothers are passionate about getting their message out there.
“We hope
Together makes people feel just that - together. It's really important to us that people everywhere can feel loved and included and part of the family. We really are a band of brothers. Nothing is more important than family.
To mark the release of Together, the Thomas Brothers will be performing at Festival One on Friday, January 24 and again on Saturday, January 25. For more info click here.
