The wildest, wettest, dirtiest, hardest, heaviest most rocking heavy metal tour to hit Australia and New Zealand shores ever in the history of anything ever is coming… a little later than originally planned. For obvious reasons, the Steel Panther ‘Heavy Metal Rules Tour’ re-scheduled dates are as follows:
Sunday February 14, 2021 - Powerstation in Auckland
Tuesday February 16 - Margaret Court Arena in Melbourne
Thursday February 18 - NEX in Newcastle
Friday February 19 - Hordern Pavilion in Sydney
Saturday February 20 - Eaton's Hill in Brisbane
For the uninitiated, Steel Panther was formed in 2000 and is comprised of Michael Starr (lead singer), Satchel (guitarist), Lexxi Foxx (bass) and Stix Zadinia (drums).
Hailing from Los Angeles, the epicenter for rock n’ roll in all its debauchery and glamour, Steel Panther has established themselves as the world’s premier party band, melding hard rock virtuosity with parody and criminally good looks. Steel Panther is a global phenomenon with four full-length albums, touring across the world, and platinum-level YouTube status.
Rolling Stone avowed, "There’s a reason Steel Panther have transcended their origins as a cover band playing the Sunset Strip," while Metal Sucks declared, "Steel Panther’s concept is genius...their songwriting is...preposterously snappy – and relatable."
Tickets already purchased for the Heavy Metal Rules tour are still valid for the rescheduled dates in 2021 and Tickets are now on sale again at mjrpresents.com.
