The majority of Banks Arcade may be in New Zealand for isolation but, that hasn't stopped them from bringing their new single Drown to those in lockdown.
When discussing the songs lyrics Joshua (vocalist) says "It’s a dark sensual song about a type of intimacy that blurs the rest of the world into nothing and keeps both parties sedated while they fly together. It’s a song about a place where pain and pleasure coalesce." The video reflects this by showing "A dreamy trip through neon lights, intoxication, sex, love, pills, and bad choices that feel good at the time."
Jack Shand took the reigns on the creation of the video for Drown, creating a remarkable visual representation of the concepts expressed in the song.
Whilst the band may not be able to play shows right now we can assure you they will be back on stage, once the lockdown is lifted.
