Dateline release a string of live recordings entitled Dateline Live! (out via Sunreturn).
Dateline is the musical project of Katie Everingham, a musician and songwriter currently based in Hastings. Her band is made up of the cream of Auckland's indie and alternative crop featuring Callum Devlin (Hans Pucket), Hariet Ellis (Na Noise, Dick Move) and Priya Sami (fka Trip Pony, The Sami Sisters) and Ruby Walsh (Lips, Trip Pony) .
All profits generated from the sale of Dateline Live! will be donated to the Whammy Bar / Wine Cellar during their Boosted campaign.

The recordings found on Dateline Live! were captured, mixed and mastered by Bob Frisbee when the band opened for LA alt-rock group Jay Som (who were in town touring their latest album Anak Ko). Thinking back on the show Katie says "It was a fun show to play - Bob was on sound which is always reassuring. Jay Som were amazing and also very nice. 10/10 Band." There is even a wholesome instagram photo to prove it!
Dateline Live! comes off the back of two scorching singles, If You Want It and Such A Bitch. Those songswere recorded by Dateline's original band members Elizabeth Stokes (The Beths) Robert Bruce (The Naenae Express) and Ruby Walsh (Trip Pony). When it is deemed safe to leave the house Dateline will get to recording a follow up EP due out before the end of 2020.
