Formed in 2020 against a backdrop of nationwide lockdowns, mini-ramp building and shared punk-rock playlists, Mount Maunganui’s Six Twos are putting the fun back into punk-rock.
Hailed as the Mount’s “tallest band,” Six Twos music will have fans of The Ramones, The Descendents and nineties So-Cal punk rock singing along and looking for a curb cut to pop their back wheels.
The Middle-Aged Love, EP tackles everything from Thomas Piketty’s Capital, to the dangers of middle aged skating, people movers, surf checks and everything in-between.
Band Members:
Andy Veysey (vocals, guitar)
Carl Bogue (drums)
Sam Cummins (guitar, vocals)
Bruce Tod (bass, vocals)
