Christchurch four-piece Pieces of Molly have today released their new fast-paced rock song Don’t Shine A Light Into The Dark + announced their debut album will drop on October 28.
Off the back of an epic Australia/NZ tour with Californian stoner rock legends Sasquatch, this new visceral hard-rock offering is about embracing the darkness that surrounds us in everyday life. “Some things are meant to be dangerous, and should stay dangerous,” says lead singer Ewen Glasgow. “Musically, it has the hard rock signatures that embodies us as artists. Riffs, screaming vocals, a ripping guitar solo, thunderous bass and a driving drum beat along with a bludgeoning drum solo.”
Don’t Shine A Light Into The Dark is the follow-up to their rock-anthem I Don’t Wanna (#10 Hot NZ Singles Chart), and the final release before their debut album on October 28.
Known for their electric performances, Ōtautahi Christchurch fans are being treated to a special release show at 12 Bar on November 5 - where they can also get buy the album on vinyl!
