Bad Jelly Collective, the upcoming local enigmatic sonic project, is set to saturate eardrums with their second single, GETD0WN. Featuring the extraordinary guitar virtuoso Jimi Kara, the track takes a sonic-quantum leap by blending genres of dub, alternative rock, blues, and trip-hop, resulting in a mesmerising and genre-bending music experience. GETD0WN is the second taste of what's to come from Bad Jelly Collective's forthcoming EP, WESTB0UND&D0WN, showcasing their ability to traverse diverse musical “moodscapes".

Based in the captivating Waitakere Ranges of Tāmaki Makaurau, Bad Jelly Collective is the brainchild of artist Bad Jelly Ben. As a solo artist, Ben spearheads the sonic project's creative vision/sound, constantly pushing the boundaries of musical exploration. Drawing inspiration from an eclectic range of influences, including Wellington’s dub/roots scene, local landscapes of Aotearoa, true blues & red hot knives, Bad Jelly Collective creates a sound that defies categorisation and invites listeners on an immersive sonic journey.

GETD0WN serves as a testament to Bad Jelly Collective's commitment to defying traditional genre boundaries.
