So what can a VISITOR xpect from the Wellington weather? Will i need to bring my overcoat

The several times I've been there, it's been cold and windy.

When I went there to see Bowie in 2004 it absolutely bucketed down with rain... great for an open-air venue.. NOT.

It's still pretty good weather here at the moment. But it would pay to bring a jersey in case there is one of those random cold days we often incounter. But I wouldn't bother with a hefty raincoat if your planning on only staying in the CBD for a few nights.

anyone see the thing on the news last night about it? Looks pretty cool! Not sure if i misinterpreted it or not but they were talking about the massive lineup and then said maybe theres more to come and showed a shot of weta workshops and a voice says over the PA something about zombies to make-up.....

Weta Workshop was going to be involved right from the beginning, they got mentioned even before the first act had been announced.

I'm picking it will be an awesome stage-show with amazing costumes and special effects.

instead i got a speeding ticket, wof and rego to pay as well as a few old debts

absolutely kicking myself for just buying korn and comedy gala tickets lol

wellington just plainly sucks.

its hard enuff to get wellingtonians to pay $5.00 to see some good local bands let alone a hundred or so to see some international bands. Yet they que for hours to get into a trendy courtenay place nightclubs.

Maybe if there was a rugby game in there somehow they'd be interested.

someone said this(pricing going down) also happend in wellington at the rollingstones but i dont know if thats true.

Woah, I heard the promotor lost money on this one... perhaps he'll go for something other than a bunch of nostalgia acts... or at least grab some that are still relevant today.

yea it sux that the turn out wasnt 2 good but i had a f**kin mean time!!! got gene simons 2 sign my kiss shirt n my bro got zakk wyld 2 sign his ozzy shirt (pricless if u ask me) PLUS both nights we got upgraded from platnum seated (150 per night) to diamond seated (230 per night) for free! not 2 mention that every single band blew me away. alice cooper and whitesnake were way way better than i expected but for me kiss has 2 take the cake.
thank you to every1 who helped organise that whiked event. i will never 4get it!

only went to the 2nd night, but whitesnake were outstanding! Poison were wicked too! Ozzy was pretty much just like his live DVDs but still good nonetheless.
