With all proceeds going to Jay’s whanau, Ticket Fairy will also be donating the ticket booking fee and the venue will be giving 10% of the bar to the cause as well.
There are very few people who have influenced the NZ bass music scene more than Jay Monds. He leaves behind a huge legacy, as a friend, father, partner and in the scene that he helped build.
“Jay was one of the founders of the NZ Drum and Bass scene and helped put NZ on the worldwide DnB map and will be sorely missed. The fundraiser will be a special night, very emotional but exactly what Jay would have wanted and a great way to raise some well needed funds for his family!,” says one of the event organisers, Gareth Popham, director of Northern Bass/Fuzen Entertainment.
A huge thanks to all the artists donating their time and skills, Ticket Fairy donating their fees, Krisp Design on the artwork and thanks to Fuzen for coordinating the gig.
So come down and raise a drink to Jay, and If you aren't able to make it and want to help out, please see the GiveALittle page
