The wait is finally over! Cairo Knife Fight is proud to announce the release of their brand-new EP, Dream Season, available now on all major streaming platforms via Golden Robot Records. This highly anticipated collection of songs marks the band's first release since their 2017 album, Seven.
"Dream Season is our first collection of songs since our last album Seven in 2017," shares frontman Nick Gaffaney. "Those years have been full of myriad ups and downs, like all lives, so it's great to see the shore again and be still here, still working."The EP's artwork, designed by Barny Bewick at Indium Design, draws inspiration from Théodore Géricault's iconic painting "The Raft of the Medusa." Gaffaney emphasizes the importance of the creative team that has been with the band since its inception: "We sometimes don't talk enough about the creative work that surrounds a band, and we're very fortunate to have a group of creative people who have been there with us since the beginning. That might be the legacy of this band that I'm most proud of."
Dream Season encapsulates the band's journey over the past seven years, reflecting their resilience and evolution. Each track on the EP showcases Cairo Knife Fight's signature sound — raw, powerful, and unfiltered — while also exploring new sonic landscapes.
