A locally produced take on the long-running British chart music show Top Of The Pops is about to launch in New Zealand.

TV2, in conjunction with Satellite Media, will produce the weekly hour-long show, hosted by Edge drive DJ Alex Behan.
The show will not only include the weekly chart countdown and performances, as on the UK version, but interviews as well.

Top Of The Pops NZ will screen from 6pm to 7pm every Saturday on TV2.
