Current BMG boss Mike Bradshaw has been named as GM of the new Sony-BMG record company, leaving current Sony boss and 26-year music industry veteran Michael Glading out of a job from early 2005.
Glading has headed Sony for the last 16 years, with a guiding hand in some of New Zealand music's biggest succces stories, including Bic Runga and Brooke Fraser.
He is also Chairman of the RIANZ board.
He will stay on with Sony-BMG as it makes the transition from two companies into one music superpower.
Further announcements on staffing changes are expected in the near future.
Bradshaw has been boss of BMG for the last two years, prior to which he was Marketing Manager at Sony.
