ANDREW KEOGHAN &
EVA PROWSE LIVE AT MEOW
THURSDAY 27 APRIL | 8PM
MEOW, 9
EDWARD ST, WELLINGTON
Los Angeles-based new romantic Andrew Keoghan returns to Wellington
alongside Eva Prowse,
with both sharing songs from their recently released second albums.
Keoghan's tour sits alongside the release of a new single, Something Going
On, from last year's warmly received LP Every
Orchid Offering.
'If anything, it reminds me
of David Bowie’s similarly genreless ★ or the work of Kirin J
Callinan, but possessed by an exquisite chamber-pop grace befitting Grizzly
Bear or Dirty Projectors'. -
Stereogum
Perhaps best known for her contributions to the Fly My Pretties live concert
series, Eva Prowse followed 2010's folk-infused debut I Can't Keep Secrets,
with a more synth-laden sophomore Humid Nights, released
last year.
'with a voice that soars
between Kate Bush kookiness and a rich, melodious pop-soulfulness…'
'Truly universal and
international – and utterly enjoyable' - James Belfield,
The Listener
