Music News - New Single for Dizzy Height - 'Mask'

Mask is the new single release from Dizzy Height following the album Soul Searching which was released in February this year.
“It’s good to try something a little different and test the water outside of my comfort zone; so, a single seemed to make sense” Dizzy said with regard to the new project.
The song deals with how many people, particularly through social media, seem to put on a mask and present a themselves in a different light to what may actually be ‘the real them’, often a mirror image of others in what is becoming a clichéd faceless world of photo shopped posts and processed information.
However, the concept behind the song aside, Mask features a more commercial sound with multi layers of vocals and instruments which is very different to the previous ‘Beatle-Esque’ material that appeared on both Soul Searching and the Passing Shadows albums.
As many artists will say these days, streaming through the various ‘cut price offers’ available is exponentially affecting the profit margins of many a good band, but for the ‘purist music fans’ the single is available from iTunes, Amazon and Google Play… and dare we mention ‘streaming’ on all the usual sites.
