Write4Gold International Graffiti Competition

29 March 2006 - 0 Comments

Disruptiv and Molotow in association with the K Rd Business Association are proud to bring you WRITE4GOLD for the first time in New Zealand. This prestigious international graffiti competition offers crews of artists the opportunity to put their skills to the test, with three judges travelling here from all over the world especially for the event. The winning crew from New Zealand will be flown to Germany to compete in the world finals in August of this year. One of the international supporters of this event is the renowned Goethe Institute.

WRITE4GOLD will be held all along K Rd with ten temporary walls being placed throughout the street and painted from 10am to 6pm. A selection of New Zealand’s finest DJ’s will be positioned strategically to ensure the listening pleasure of artists and their audience. There will also be a breakdancing battle, bouncy castle and various other treats for the whole family.

Write4Gold is included in the New Zealand Music Month programme.
