And for those of you wondering, YES, the bill DID get past - he put tacked it on the end of another one, only 2 people in congress contested this, and failed.

Nope... but I got a new PC, but they didn't have the monitor in stock, so I got a free upgrade to a Samsung 22" flatscreen... a "win" of sorts!

...goes nice with my new DualCore Gaming PC with 4gb of ram

Yes! I went to a friends fundraising quiz night on tuesday night. I took my flatmate with me and our group- there was about 7 of us- won the whole thing.

There were 26 teams of about 5-8 people, so it was pretty packed, and I still don't really know how we did it. But we won a $150 bar tab, which the older people in our team didn't even want so we ended up having quite a bit to drinks ourselves.

That's the first thing I've won since I can remember.
