thats a good point but i still disagree, this is because songs off the black album like unforgiven, entersandman and nothing else matters that got them truely recognised (and made shitloads of money) and as a result they became more rockish sounding with load. this is what i would consider selling out. where as when megadeth put out a tout le monde they didn't keep releasing the same kind of softer music because it got them money orwhatever. i really dont wanna start with the whole metallica thing coz its totaly off topic. maybe for a different forum

well wen u think about it, ozzy has gottn pretty heavy lately, especially in black rain, just start up the cd on track one and that just sums it up for me really. but yeah bodom would be sweet as aye one of the definate bands on my (imaginary) must-see list. second fave of all time (maiden topping them)

iron maiden now theres a band that would fit the bill perfectly! but thats a fools wish isnt it. i cant believe they decided 2 skip us in the tour they got goin on next year

perhaps not but their tour is in the middle of feb and i dont think that they would double back 4 us. plus i would think that maiden is possably bigger than both kiss and ozzy so id expect them 2 b headliners.

Don't know who would be considered "bigger", Maiden used to support Kiss back in the day. Plus Kiss were never metal, so that immediately gives them more commercial viability.

I never got Kiss though, they sucked when I was a kid and they suck as a nostalgia act

Bollocks.

They've been here before and rocked. I think the main reason they don't come to smaller places like here is the money that's involved. Their set and crew is massive. They probably wouldn't make enough money to cover the shipping and all the other technical crap that goes with it.

if you go on the maiden website it has all their tour dates for next year.....there is a surprisingly large gap arround the time of the wellington gig...........

drums (Faith No More)

Or at least it was earlier this year.
